Meredith Meyka RN, CEN comes to Care2U with 30 years of experience spanning a number of specialties.  Meredith started her nursing career in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma Center, as both a staff nurse and later as part of the nursing leadership team.  Additionally, she was a pre-hospital care provider as an Emergency Medical Technician-Critical Care.  After working in Emergency Medicine, Meredith took a position as a Procurement Transplant Coordinator, for Live on NY, formally known as the New York Organ Donor Network, eventually becoming a Clinical Territory Manager.  Over the past 10 years Ms. Meyka has held nursing leadership positions in various Emergency Departments and Critical Care units, served as a Senior Nursing Consultant for Progressive Emergency Physicians and worked as a legal nurse consultant.  Most recently she has been a staff nurse in the Emergency Department at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
